Event: Strategic Leadership Challenges for the 21st Century

The Center for Strategic and International studies will be hosting General James E. Cartwright, USMC (Ret.) on October 10th, 2013 from 7-8 p.m. in 118 Katz Building to discuss leadership challenges for the 21st century.

Gen. Cartwright served as the eighth Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from August 31, 2007 to August 3, 2011. He previously served as the Commander, U.S. Strategic Command, from September 1, 2004 to August 10, 2007. He is the recipient of numerous military awards and honors including the Defense Distinguished Service Medal. General Cartwright also currently serves as a senior fellow at The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Harvard University and a member of the Board of Directors of Raytheon.
