February 2011 Archives

Joan Richtsmeier, PhD and doctoral candidate John Starbuck are looking for siblings to take 3D pictures of their faces for research exploring differences in facial form. Each family will be provided with $5 for each sibling who enrolls into this study. At least 2 siblings must be present to enroll into this study. Image collection takes 5-8 minutes per family, and no health risks are associated with our 3D camera system. It is just like taking a normal picture. One visit to our lab in the Carpenter Building, University Park, PA is required. Parental consent is required for participants under the age of 18. Participation is voluntary, and financial compensation is provided on a per sibling basis. This study is being conducted for research purposes. For more information or to schedule an appointment please contact John Starbuck at jms1043@psu.edu or 814-865-2066 (e-mail preferred). This research is under the direction of Joan Richtsmeier, PhD and has been approved by the Penn State Institutional Review Board.
